Proposition 65, Pump'd and You

As you may have heard, read or seen in the news lately, Attorney General Jerry Brown has filed a lawsuit against a handful of Inflatable Rental businesses and manufacturers of inflatable equipment -- due to unsafe levels of lead used in the vinyl that goes into making bounce houses.

We wanted to let you know that one of the companies named in the lawsuit (Cutting Edge Creations) is the manufacturer of our "Chaos" obstacle course and our giant slide. They have issued a press release concerning the lawsuit & the steps they've taken to address concerns.

You can read their statement here: https://www.cuttingedgecreations.com/Use-of-Lead-Free-Vinyl-sp-50.html

We purchased our equipment from them in 2008 -- 3 years after they've switched to a supplier that adheres to Prop 65's limits for product safety.

We wanted to inform our customers that we are staying on top of this situation to ensure we are keeping you and your children safe while at Pump'd.

Thank you
-Pump'd

PS -- The manufacturer of our traditional bounce houses (Sports and Birthday cake themed) was not named in the lawsuit.

Policy Enforcement: No Outside Food or Drink during Open Jump

Hello from the staff at Pump'd. We know it's been a while since last we added information, and we promise we will be better about it from now on.
Good stuff
We are excited to have begun our second year. Thank you all who have supported us as we started this amazing adventure. We hope that you are as PUMP'd as we are! (*pun intended)
We've had a great turn-out for FUNdraisers and fieldtrips lately. If you would like to book either, please contact us at 761-5321 during normal operating hours.
We are finalizing our summer "Family Fun Night" themes (oh and are they good).
We are also in the final stages of coordinating a fitness program a few times a week over summer for children to participate in-- keep watch for more information on this.
The not so good stuff
We are strictly enforcing our 'No Outside Food or Drink' policy during Open Jump.
While many of our customers will find this an inconvenience, we have a legitmate reason to have this policy.
Recently we noticed the smell of alcohol in one of our trash bins. Upon further inspection we discovered that someone poured an alcoholic beverage into a plastic bottle and discarded it.
This is unacceptable; it puts the wellness and safety of everyone at risk. It also can be cause for the City to revoke our special use permit, thus causing us to no longer be in business.
We all know the old addage, that it only takes one person to ruin things for EVERYONE. This is very much the case.
We know it is a major inconvenience for our fantasic guests, but enforcing our "No Outside Food/Drink" policy is for the greater good.
Our staff will kindly ask that you finish your food/beverage in our lobby before entering the bounce area, or we'd be happy to keep your items at the front desk.
Copies of this post will be available at our frontdesk.
